Student exhibition: Life Landscapes with Robert Lee Davis

"Landscapes of Memory and History invites viewers to explore the ways places, objects, and personal experiences shape our understanding of the past and present. Through collage, found objects, and mixed media, students have created layered artworks that combine fragments of memory, history, and imagination into new visual narratives. Inspired by the artistic practice of Robert Lee Davis, students have embraced experimentation, combining textures, imagery, and collected objects to reveal stories that might otherwise remain unseen.

Their works consider the traces left by people, places, and time, encouraging viewers to reflect on how landscapes hold both personal memories and shared histories. This exhibition celebrates the creative process of assembling, reimagining, and connecting disparate elements to communicate ideas that are rich, complex, and deeply personal. Each artwork offers a unique perspective on the relationship between memory, identity, and place."
