This is a new semi-regular peek behind the scenes at Take Two. In this series, we’ll be checking in with the people who help turn all those hours of filming, conversations, demonstrations and creative moments into the online art courses you eventually see on screen.
For our first instalment, Creative Director Jo Wright chats with Anna Pik, Take Two’s Head of Production.
There’s a lot happening: our first ceramics course with Juz Kitson is nearly ready for release, while footage from Julian Jamal Jones’ quilting course is just beginning its journey through the edit. We talk about what goes into bringing a course together - from colour grading, sound and music to course logos and all those tiny finishing touches that make the final videos sing.
And, of course, there’s a little behind-the-scenes chaos along the way. Think cliffside tree sculpting, many giggles, and a few very sweaty dance moves on a hot filming day.
