Take Two Art Gift Cards: How They Work

Gift cards are delivered by email: the card and its code go to the recipient, and a receipt goes to the purchaser.

• Amount: choose a set amount or enter a custom amount from 50 up to 1,000 in the currency you are paying in.
• Currency: you can buy in AUD, NZD, GBP, EUR, USD or CAD. A card can only be spent in the currency it was bought in, and it can't be switched later.
• Gifts for overseas recipients: choose the currency your recipient will shop in. If their currency isn't listed, choose USD.
• Recipient email: check the address carefully. Take Two Art isn't responsible for a card sent to an incorrect address entered by the purchaser, but the support team will help where they can (see Lost or stolen gift cards).

To redeem a gift card, enter its code at the Take Two Art checkout on taketwoart.com. Cards can't be redeemed by phone, email or through any other platform.

What a gift card can buy

How it works at checkout

• Sale prices: gift cards can be used on sale-priced products.
• Discount codes: gift cards can be used together with discount codes, unless a particular code's terms say otherwise.
• Multiple cards: you can use more than one gift card on a single order, as long as all the cards are in the same currency as the order.
• Part payment: if the order costs more than the card balance, pay the difference with another accepted payment method.

A card holds value, not a place in a course

Course prices, availability and enrolment dates can change, and Signature courses may have limited places or fixed enrolment periods. Redeem your card while your chosen course is open for enrolment.

Take Two Art gift cards have no expiry date and stay valid until the full balance is spent. There are no fees of any kind, including activation, account-keeping or inactivity fees.

• Part spending: you don't have to use the whole balance in one order. Whatever is left stays on the card for future purchases.
• Receipts: after each purchase, an email receipt shows the remaining balance.
• Checking your balance: email support@taketwoart.com at any time to ask for it.

Gift cards are non-refundable, except in the cases below or where the law requires otherwise.

• EU and UK purchasers: you can cancel your purchase within 14 days for a full refund, as long as no part of the card has been used. Email support@taketwoart.com with your order details. The refund goes back to the original payment method.
• Cash: gift cards can't be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires it (for example, cash redemption of small remaining balances in some US states).
• Refunded courses: if a course paid for with a gift card is later refunded under the Course Terms and Conditions, the gift card portion returns to the card balance, not to you as cash. Any part paid by another method is refunded to that method.
• Your legal rights: nothing in the gift card terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer laws of the country where you live.

Gift cards are transferable, so anyone who has the code can spend the balance. Store your code securely and treat it like cash.

If your card is lost or stolen, email support@taketwoart.com as soon as possible. If the original purchase can be verified, the original code is cancelled and a replacement is issued with the balance remaining at the time of cancellation.

Any balance spent before you reported the card lost or stolen can't be replaced, so report it quickly.

Promotional gift cards

Take Two Art sometimes gives away gift cards or credit free of charge, for example as competition prizes, referral or ambassador rewards, or customer service gestures. Because these aren't sold, different conditions may apply, such as an expiry date, limits on which courses they can be used for, or a ban on transferring them.

Any special condition is stated on the card or in the email that delivers it. Where none is stated, the standard gift card terms apply in full. Promotional cards have no cash value and can't be refunded or exchanged for cash, except where the law requires it.

Fraud and misuse

• Take Two Art may cancel, suspend or refuse a gift card it reasonably believes was bought or obtained by fraud, with a stolen or unauthorised payment method, or in breach of the terms.
• Gift cards may not be resold, offered for sale on third-party sites, or used for any unlawful purpose. Cards that are may be cancelled.
• If a card is cancelled after a recipient received it in good faith, Take Two Art will contact them and act fairly, in line with its legal obligations.

Receiving a gift card does not sign the recipient up to marketing emails. Marketing emails are only sent to people who have separately opted in, and they can unsubscribe at any time.

• What is collected: to deliver a card, Take Two Art collects the purchaser's details and the recipient's name and email address, and handles them under its Privacy Policy.
• Service emails: recipients receive the gift card itself, a balance receipt after each purchase, and periodic reminders while a balance remains unused. Reminder emails can be opted out of at any time.
• Purchaser's responsibility: by buying a card, the purchaser confirms they have the recipient's permission, or a reasonable basis, to share the recipient's name and email address for delivery.

Does my gift card expire? No. Purchased gift cards stay valid until the full balance is spent. Promotional gift cards may have an expiry date, which will be stated on the card or in its delivery email.

Can I use my gift card for a payment plan? Not currently. Gift cards can only be used on orders paid in full.

Can I use a gift card on a sale course or with a discount code? Yes to both, unless the terms of a particular discount code say otherwise.

My course costs more than my gift card. What do I do? Enter the code at checkout and pay the difference with another accepted payment method. You can also combine several gift cards in the same currency.

Can I use a gift card to buy another gift card or an in-person event? No. Gift cards can't be used for gift cards, live in-person events or physical products.

Can I change the currency on my gift card? No. A card can only be spent in the currency it was bought in.

I entered the wrong email address when buying. What now? Contact support@taketwoart.com as soon as possible. Take Two Art isn't responsible for cards sent to a wrong address entered by the purchaser, but will help where it can.

Can I get a refund on a gift card? Gift cards are non-refundable, except for the 14-day cancellation right for EU and UK purchasers (if the card is unused) or where the law requires otherwise.

How do I find out how much is left on my card? Check the receipt emailed after your last purchase, or email support@taketwoart.com.

Can I give my gift card to someone else? Yes. Cards are transferable, and anyone with the code can use the balance, so share it only with the person you intend.

Email support@taketwoart.com for balance enquiries, lost or stolen cards, wrong-address deliveries and EU or UK cancellations. The terms in force when a card was bought continue to apply to it, and later changes can't reduce its value, shorten its validity or add fees.
