Videos Loading Slowly – Troubleshooting Tips

Try these simple steps one at a time:

  1. Refresh the page
Click the small arrow at the top of your browser (next to the address bar).
This often fixes small hiccups right away.

  2. Close other tabs or programs
If you have lots of tabs open, your computer has to work harder.
Close any you’re not using — especially ones playing music or videos.

  3. Check your internet connection
Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
If you can, move a little closer to your router (the box that gives you internet).
Sometimes just being nearer helps the video play more smoothly.

  4. Try a different browser
We recommend Google Chrome or Safari.
Some older browsers (like Internet Explorer or Edge) don’t play videos as well.

  5. Restart your computer or tablet
Turn it off and back on again — it gives everything a fresh start.

  6. Clear your browser’s cache (optional if you feel confident)
Your browser stores bits of old data that can slow things down.
In Chrome: click the three dots at the top right → “Settings” → “Privacy and Security” → “Clear browsing data.”
