Videos Loading Slowly – Troubleshooting Tips
Try these simple steps one at a time:
- Refresh the page
Click the small ⟳ arrow at the top of your browser (next to the address bar).
This often fixes small hiccups right away. - Close other tabs or programs
If you have lots of tabs open, your computer has to work harder.
Close any you’re not using — especially ones playing music or videos. - Check your internet connection
Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
If you can, move a little closer to your router (the box that gives you internet).
Sometimes just being nearer helps the video play more smoothly. - Try a different browser
We recommend Google Chrome or Safari.
Some older browsers (like Internet Explorer or Edge) don’t play videos as well. - Restart your computer or tablet
Turn it off and back on again — it gives everything a fresh start. - Clear your browser’s cache (optional if you feel confident)
Your browser stores bits of old data that can slow things down.
In Chrome: click the three dots at the top right → “Settings” → “Privacy and Security” → “Clear browsing data.”
