Claire Benn is a UK-based mixed-media textile artist, educator, and professional coach whose work emerges from deep observation, quiet materials, and a reverence for stillness. Before returning fully to her art in the late 1990s, Claire spent years as a freelance training and development consultant specialising in one-to-one coaching – a background that shaped her intuitive, supportive approach to mentoring other artists.

With decades of art-making and teaching under her belt, Claire’s work is informed by principles of thoughtful composition, while her teaching philosophy emphasises self-awareness, confidence, and sustained creative habit.

In Beyond Technique, you are invited on an intimate journey of creative development – to refine you mindset, self-critique skills, and voice, so you can make art that feels like it’s authentically yours.
