Privacy Policy

We want to let you know how we collect information so that you can feel comfortable sharing it with us. That's why we have this privacy policy, which outlines the way we at Take Two Art (ABN 72449921415) collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.

What personal information do we collect?

The personal information we collect is generally limited to:

  • name and contact details and opinions; and
  • any communications we have: and
  • conversations you have with our website chat assistant, including anything you type into it;

However, we may also collect:

  • financial information, including credit card or direct debit details; and
  • information about how you use our website via third parties.

How do we collect your personal information?

The main way we collect information is when you give it to us. You might do this by filling out forms on our website, such as sign-up or intake forms. You might also give us information through phone calls, emails, social media, or by chatting with the assistant on our website. On occasion, we may also collect information from the person that referred you or other people or organisations.

We love hearing from you, and we promise to keep your information safe and secure.

We also use cookies on our website. These are little bits of data that help our website work better. They might identify you and keep track of the pages you visit. This helps us improve our website and make it more secure. Plus, it makes it easier for you to use our website! You won't have to fill in your information again and again.

At times, personal information may also be gathered from third parties, such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel. These third parties may use cookies, web beacons and similar technology to collect or receive information about your habits on the internet.

Our website chat assistant

Our website has a chat assistant to help answer your questions about our courses and website. It’s powered by artificial intelligence (AI), so you’re chatting with an automated tool, not a person.

Talking to a real person: You can ask the assistant to pass you on to one of our team at any time. Our team may not be available straight away, but we’ll get back to you within one business day. You can also email us at support@taketwoart.com.

What we collect: When you use the chat assistant, we keep a record of your conversation. This includes anything you type in, like your name, email address, or course and order details. We also collect some technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you were on when you started chatting. The chat tool may use cookies to remember your conversation.

Please don’t share sensitive information: Please don’t enter credit card or bank details, passwords, health information, or personal information about other people (especially children) into the chat. If you do, we’ll only use it to deal with your enquiry and will delete it when it’s no longer needed.

How we use your chats: We use your conversations to answer your questions, pass your enquiry on to our team when needed, and review chats from time to time to check the quality of the answers and improve the assistant.

Who provides it and where your information is stored: Our chat assistant is provided by HubSpot, the platform that runs our website. HubSpot stores your conversations on our behalf in the United States and Australia. To generate the assistant’s answers, your messages are processed by AI service providers that HubSpot uses, which currently process this information in the United States. HubSpot’s support teams in other countries may also access information where needed to provide and support the service, and HubSpot may change where it stores or processes information from time to time. HubSpot is required to keep your information secure and to use it only to provide its services to us.

Your chats are not used to train AI: We have switched off HubSpot’s AI model training for our account, so your conversations with our chat assistant are not used to train HubSpot’s AI models. HubSpot’s agreements with its AI service providers also prohibit them from using your information to train their AI models.

Decisions about you: The chat assistant doesn’t make any decisions about you. It can’t approve or process refunds, handle payments or money matters, or make changes to your enrolment. Our team always handles those.

How long we keep chats: Chat records are stored in our HubSpot account. We keep them only for as long as we need them to respond to your enquiry, provide our services, and meet our legal obligations, and we regularly review and delete chats we no longer need. To access or delete your chat history, see “How can you access or delete your information?” below. When we delete your information at your request, it is permanently removed from HubSpot within 30 days.

Why do we collect your personal information?

  • communicate with you in relation to your enquiry;
  • send you news if you have signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • conduct our business, and enable your use of our website, products, and services; and
  • In some cases, we need to comply with our legal obligations, such as record keeping.
