Picture My World

From coastlines to woodlands, these works reflect close observation of place through diverse mixed media approaches. By clarifying what draws them to a landscape, each artist has shaped daily walks into a thoughtful and personal art practice.

Picture My World

Student exhibition: Inspired by Nature with Tara Axford

"From seascapes, rivers, woodlands, and the bush, through all seasons, Inspired by Nature students have explored a place through a new lens, using a variety of mixed media.

By clarifying a viewpoint and working out what draws them to a certain place, they have transformed daily walks into an art practice. The looking closer to find variations and found beauty has resulted in a wonderful capture - a picture of their world. It’s my pleasure to share this wonderful collection of work with you.
