Making Connections - Student Exhibition 2023
To Do Different: The expression is based on the independent spirit of those who come from the county of my birth Norfolk. The expression means to take a course of action you feel to be right to that which is conventional.
To Do Different
I have been inspired by the different outcomes and responses to the themes explored within the Making Connections course. Each person has created an individual response reflecting their own ideas whilst making connections to the work at hand, and to each other. This is worthy of celebrating. ‘Do Different’ is a reflection of the stories about the places and everyday things we care about told in the language of colour, layer and cloth To be able to share this exhibition as they reflect beautiful and life enhancing creative experience which was ‘different’.
