Journeys in Art

Student exhibition: Wilderness & Wonder with Roxanne Evans Stout

"I am so proud and excited to present 'Journeys in Art', Student Exhibition! This has been a beautiful group in every way, my students have not only been creative and kind, but they have also been explorers both outside in the landscape and inside their own studios. They have taken chances on new methods and the processes I have taught, bravely shared their projects and been warm, supportive, and kind to each other. It has been such an honour to work with each of them!

From creating land art in the mountains and on the ocean shore, to abstracting and collaging landscapes, to making artist books and assemblages and finally building upon everything they have learned to create the pieces you see here the results have been superb. I want to thank everyone who have taken this journey with me, for trusting and believing in me as their tutor and guide!

It has been such a joy to watch you grow and shine, and how your work has evolved and emerged into these beautiful projects filled with your own stories. And I want to especially thank the very professional, talented, and creative team at Take Two."
