Student exhibition: Embrace the Journey with Wen Redmond "The plethora of techniques fills the well. It can bring revelations as one must focus to...
"Merging photography, paper, fiber, and mixed media in art making as a process....a journey. Join us as the art reveals itself in that now state that makes art authentic. Participants explored the delightful aspects of creating customized printing substrates and merging their own altered photographs, to expand the vision of a digital print. The crescendo of printing on the nearly limitless substrates illuminates the ah-ha of being in the flow.
Every printed photograph represents the elusive capture the of that artful moment, entering the dialogue as materials and processes merge into works that are all their own. Never before have there been so many opportunities to express oneself digitally! The journey happens in the moment…the now. Presenting unique and personal results for our exhibit, Stopping in the Now. The magical nature of these innovative outcomes with alternative digital art takes our breath away."
